A small finish

Hello everyone,
I am just learning how to cross-stitch at the moment and I wanted a blog of my own !!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I love my sheep it is a 'Shepherd's Bush' one and my first stitching on evenweave linen...I did this about a year ago and will make it into a fob or small pillow type pincushion.

Please leave me a comment if you like it :))))

I am now stitching 'Mary Kirby Home' by Bright Needle but I am doing this on 14ct aida as I am trying to do it all by myself and it is easier. Here is the picture of what I was telling you about my Mary Kirby and Hoover. Each Mary Kirby comes with a real silver charm and a passport and a little chapter story.I hope I get this done soon and made into something with a bit of help for my new Blog called My Stitching.

Hello Amy, I love the sheep from Shepherd's Bush, they are so sweet. I'm glad you like stitching. My daughter started stitching when she was about 8, now she is almost 21 and still does some when she has time. I also have 3 boys but none of them are interested in stitching at all!

I look forward to seeing more of your fine stitching. I will add a link to your blog at my blog.

Wow Amy, I love that sheep and you're very brave stitching on evenweave already. I've been stitching over ten years and I've only just started using it (and I still struggle and use aida every now and then).

That is lovely stitching Amy and I am so glad you are enjoying it.

I started stitching about 10 years ago but I wish I had learnt when I was a little girl as there are just so many things I want to stitch.

Keep up the good work and wish you happy stitching.

You blog is looking great, and you should be very proud of your finishes! I have a niece the same age as you, and I have just started trying to teach her to stitch. The next time that I see her, I'm going to show her your blog. I'm sure that it will provide her some much needed inspiration to see what someone else her own age is stitching :) Keep up the good work!!
